# bindro — CLE providers > Bindro sells seats on accredited CLE courses, scans attorneys in per session, and issues one serialised certificate per attorney from that verified attendance — a no-show who paid gets nothing, which is what an audit checks. Bar members and firms can be priced against a roster or billed on a purchase order with no card. It does not file credits with any state bar. It costs 2.5% + $0.99 per paid seat; free courses cost nothing. Canonical page: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/ Reviewed: 2026-08-09 ## Facts - Inventory model: multi day agenda. - Pricing models: member nonmember, tiered, group rate. - Fees: 2.5% + $0.99 per paid seat; free courses cost nothing. - Payouts: one payout per event, released 2 days after that event's LAST session has ended (low risk tier, 0% reserve). Never before delivery, and a course sold as a run of dates pays out once, after the final date. - Check-in: qr, works offline. Visitors can come back in: a scan after they were admitted reads as a re-entry rather than a used code, at whichever entrance they come back to, and says when they first arrived. A second scan within a few minutes of the first is still read as the same code presented twice, so a screenshot passed down the queue does not get anybody in. A scan at a later point on the route counts as progress along it, not as a return. The visit is counted once however often it is scanned. - Joining: free, alone, in minutes. No contract, no monthly fee and no card at signup. A payout destination is verified before the first payout, never before the first sale. - Booking fee default: the attorney pays it. A provider can absorb it or split it per course; the fee itself does not change with the choice, only which side of the sale it comes from. - Overselling is structurally impossible: inventory moves only under a row lock inside the transaction that confirms the order, with a database constraint behind that as a backstop rather than as the mechanism. - The number this vertical is run on: Credit hours delivered. Also tracked: jurisdiction mix, filing latency, member vs non-member mix. The console computes the north-star figure and prints the arithmetic under it, beside this provider's own funnel with the drop-off at each stage, where the traffic came from, refund, transfer, turnout, no-show, add-on and repeat rates each shown with its numerator and denominator, gross, fees and refunds per course, live remaining capacity during the course, and CSV exports of orders and attorneys. A step the platform cannot observe says so rather than reporting a zero. - Data export: orders and attorneys as CSV from the console at any time, behind a fresh one-time code. No export fee, no notice period, no lock-in. - Acknowledged at checkout but NOT enforced — the box is optional and an order completes without it: State bar accreditation record. ## Not supported for this vertical - Filing credits with a state bar — nothing in the engine transmits anything to any jurisdiction. Bindro issues the per-session hours and the certificates; the provider files them, exactly as they do today. - Credit categories — a credit record carries hours, a serial and the session it came from. Ethics, technology and specialty-credit categories are not modelled, so the split has to come from how you structure the sessions themselves. - Collecting a bar card or admission certificate at registration — document upload is optional for CLE providers and is not turned on, so the file control does not render. - Board and quarterly activity reports — configured as optional for this vertical and not resolved; the console page is a hard refusal rather than an empty report. - Webcast, on-demand and recorded CLE — bindro sells the seat and admits at the door. It hosts no content and has no learner record, and a credit here comes from a scan. - Picking sessions across a multi-day institute in the hosted checkout — the hosted flow sells one session per order today; multi-session orders ship on the public JSON API. - Annual all-access CLE subscriptions — payouts settle per delivered course, so subscription revenue could be taken and never paid out. It is refused on purpose. - Paying for a seat in instalments, or deferring a seat to a later run of the course — both are optional for this vertical and are not enabled. - Printed name badges — badge printing is optional here and not resolved; check-in is by QR. - Handing a seat to a colleague — ticket transfer is not declared for CLE providers, so a direct call is refused rather than quietly reassigning the credit. - Waitlists on a fully subscribed course — a waiting list is not enabled, so full is full. ## Questions the landing page answers - What does a CLE course look like from announcement to certificate? - Does bindro file my credits with the state bar? - What happens when somebody asks about a course you ran two years ago? - What should a provider check before moving a season of courses across? https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/ ## Pages - FAQ (25 questions): https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/faq/ - bindro vs CE21: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/compare/ce21/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - bindro vs Freestone: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/compare/freestone/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - bindro vs CLE Manager: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/compare/cle-manager/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Building a CLE attendance record that survives an audit: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/blog/cle-attendance-record-that-survives-an-audit/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Billing law firms for CLE seats on a purchase order: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/blog/billing-law-firms-for-cle-seats/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Pricing member, non-member and firm rates on a CLE course: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/blog/member-and-firm-rates-for-cle/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Running a multi-day CLE institute on bindro today: https://bindro.io/vertical/cle-registration/blog/running-a-multi-day-cle-institute/ (reviewed 2026-08-09)
