# bindro — Brewery and taproom events > Bindro sells ticketed beer releases, tastings, tap takeovers and brewery tours for taprooms. Spots are sold against timed slots, every booker attests to being 21 or over and has their date of birth checked on the money path, ID is confirmed at the door and recorded against the scan, and the money reaches the taproom two days after the release ends. It costs 2.5% + $0.99 per paid spot; free releases cost nothing. Canonical page: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/ Reviewed: 2026-08-09 ## Facts - Inventory model: timed slot. - Pricing models: flat, tiered, member nonmember. - Fees: 2.5% + $0.99 per paid spot; free releases cost nothing. - Payouts: one payout per event, released 2 days after that event's LAST session has ended (low risk tier, 0% reserve). Never before delivery, and a release sold as a run of dates pays out once, after the final date. - Check-in: qr, works offline. Visitors can come back in: a scan after they were admitted reads as a re-entry rather than a used code, at whichever entrance they come back to, and says when they first arrived. A second scan within a few minutes of the first is still read as the same code presented twice, so a screenshot passed down the queue does not get anybody in. The visit is counted once however often it is scanned. - Joining: free, alone, in minutes. No contract, no monthly fee and no card at signup. A payout destination is verified before the first payout, never before the first sale. - Booking fee default: the guest pays it. A taproom can absorb it or split it per release; the fee itself does not change with the choice, only which side of the sale it comes from. - Overselling is structurally impossible: inventory moves only under a row lock inside the transaction that confirms the order, with a database constraint behind that as a backstop rather than as the mechanism. - The number this vertical is run on: Revenue per taproom hour. Also tracked: add-on attach rate, release sell-out speed, repeat guest rate. The console computes the north-star figure and prints the arithmetic under it, beside this taproom's own funnel with the drop-off at each stage, where the traffic came from, refund, transfer, turnout, no-show, add-on and repeat rates each shown with its numerator and denominator, gross, fees and refunds per release, live remaining capacity during the release, and CSV exports of orders and guests. A step the platform cannot observe says so rather than reporting a zero. - Data export: orders and guests as CSV from the console at any time, behind a fresh one-time code. No export fee, no notice period, no lock-in. - Required before checkout, enforced on the money path: Age verification (21+) for alcohol service. ## Not supported for this vertical - Waitlists when kegs kick — a waiting list is not enabled for taprooms, so a sold-out slot is sold out. - Verified member pricing — member and non-member price tiers exist as a pricing model, but checking a guest against a membership roster is not enabled here. - Handing a spot to a friend — ticket transfer is optional for this vertical and is not turned on; a direct call is refused. - Beer club subscriptions — recurring membership revenue is not attached to a release, and payouts settle per delivered event, so the engine could take the money and never pay it out. It is off on purpose. - Season passes, donation add-ons and group registration — configured as optional for taprooms and not currently resolved. - Replacing your bar POS — bindro sells and admits; it does not run tabs, tips or open-check service. - Cash taken at the door — the walk-up till charges a card on the operator device. Cash spot sales are deliberately not recorded, because crediting the platform for money it never held would pay you for the same spot twice at payout. - Bar and merch till takings as platform money — a till sale is recorded so the release numbers are complete, but the money is already yours and never enters the platform ledger or a payout. ## Questions the landing page answers - What does a release weekend actually look like on bindro? - What if the taproom already runs Untappd or a brewery POS? - How much of this is already configured before I touch anything? https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/ ## Pages - FAQ (23 questions): https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/faq/ - bindro vs Eventbrite: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/compare/eventbrite/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - bindro vs Untappd: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/compare/untappd/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - bindro vs Arryved: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/compare/arryved/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - bindro vs TicketSpice: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/compare/ticketspice/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - How to run a ticketed beer release without a queue meltdown: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/blog/running-a-beer-release-without-a-queue-meltdown/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Age verification for taproom events: what the ticket sale can and cannot do: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/blog/age-verification-for-taproom-events/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - Pricing a tap takeover: what to charge and what it costs you: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/blog/pricing-a-tap-takeover/ (reviewed 2026-08-09) - The taproom door runbook: scanning, refusals and the night the wi-fi dies: https://bindro.io/vertical/brewery-events/blog/taproom-door-night-runbook/ (reviewed 2026-08-09)
